bathing in epsom salts

I am selling Epsom Salts in bulk. Epsom Salts have some wonderful uses around the home and for your wellbeing.  (Please note, collection to be made in Somerset West, Cape Town)

20 uses for Epsom Salts

  1. Add Epsom Salts to water when watering your grass and over time it will make it greener.
  2. When you wash your face, add a little to the water for a spa treatment.
  3. If you get a splinter, soak that part of your body in water and Epsom Salts for easy extraction, or mix the Epsom Salts with Glycerine, apply to area and cover with a plaster to soften and make the extraction easier.
  4. Mix equal parts of dish washing liquid and Epsom Salts to use as a scrub for dirty tiles.
  5. To give you hair more volume, add conditioner and Epsom Salts in equal parts, apply for 20 minutes and then rinse.
  6. Add a cup of Epsom Salts to your bath water to help you sleep.  Add some lavender essential oil.
  7. Add a cup of Epsom Salts into your bath after exercise to ease those tired muscles and to prevent stiffness.
  8. When watering plants, add a few teaspoons to the water.
  9. Sprinkle onto your garden to boost growth.
  10. Sprinkle around areas where slugs are a pest, to keep them away.
  11. Add a tablespoon a week to your roses to give them a boost.
  12. For hair spray, add to water and put in a spray bottle.
  13. Epsom Salts can be used as a laxative, 1 teaspoon in water and drink.  Consult your Dr before you do this though.
  14. If you have a headache, add a cup to your bathwater and soak.
  15. For tired feed, add to hot water and soak your feet.
  16. Minor sunburn relief – 2 tablespoons in 1 cup of water and spray on
  17. To ease insect bites add 2 tablespoons to 1 cup of water and spray on.  Also useful for itchy skin.
  18. For bruising, mix Epsom Salts and water, soak a cloth in the mixture and apply to the bruise.
  19. Soaking in a hot bath with 2 cups for 15 minutes 3 x week will help with overall health.  Your body will absorb magnesium and sulphate, which we are often low in.
  20. Make a body scrub by adding 1 cup Epsom Salts to 1/4 cup of olive oil.
